Wednesday October 2

Today was travel day from Palm Desert to San Tan California. This was a five hour trip mostly along I10. A relatively barren stretch of desert until near the greater Phoenix area. The good part was the 75 mph speed limit. We crossed the border of Arizona at the Colorado River.

We arrived at Ron and Madelyn's place in San Tan AZ at around 2:00 pm, temperature was hovering around 95F and sunny.

They have just moved into their place in April and have been busy settling in. A nice newer home with lots of room for Ron's toys.

We went out for supper at a really cool restaurant called San Tan Flats. Big indoor / outdoor areas and great food with a definite western theme.
