We had some time to explore and decided to head to the coast at Half Moon Bay to do a little cruising down Hwy 1. We stopped for a little walk around the downtown. A really nice town.
Getting back on Hwy 1, we drove to a picnic spot a little bit south. The fog had been rolling in and out all along the way.
Next stop was the Pigeon Point Lighthouse.
Lots of vegetable farms right on the coast.
Further along, we stopped to watch a number of kite surfers jumping waves.
When we got to Santa Cruz, we took a break and walked the boardwalk through the amusement area at the beach. An interesting slice of life but not really our thing.
So, do you think this is really a "Service Dog"????
Less than an hour later and back on the road to the garlic capital, Gilroy CA.
Off to Pinnacles National Park tomorrow.
